Art of Tod E. Crites

 Growing up in the south has always made me consider myself a proud southern gentleman remaining true to strong southern values while also living outside of the box. 

I was born in Newport Arkansas in October of 1968.  As a child I grew up very artistic with a vivid imagination which made me become somewhat of an independent thinker.  I decided to start painting at the age of twenty one for mental relaxation and stress relief.  With no formal training or education in art, I have taught myself different techniques over the past several years involving  much trial and error.  By taking many inspirations from other artist and everyday life, I believe that everything in lif e has artistic value.

I recently showed at the Seyhoun Gallery in Los Angeles.
